What are the signs and symptoms of the disease?
Some symptoms, such as high blood
pressure, may be constant in a person with a pheochromocytoma. Other
symptoms may be noticeable only during the attacks. Symptoms may include:
high blood pressure
severe headaches
palpitations, or an unusual
awareness of the heartbeat, which may be abnormally fast or strong
excessive sweating
cold and clammy skin
abdominal distress
nausea and vomiting
blurry vision
trouble breathing, or shortness of
breath
chest pain
severe anxiety, which may
include a feeling that the world is coming to an end
weight loss
